After two successful runs at the Algonquin Hotel in New York, Alex has performed his critically acclaimed Cabaret show all across the country more than forty times for crowds as diverse as country clubs, charitable organizations, corporate events, and private dinner parties. He also has donated his show to hospitals for their patients.

This fall Alex Donner celebrates 12 years as a singer and bandleader. You can catch this man of a thousand parties when he premieres his cabaret act - an evening of songs about the city he calls home - in the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel September 16, 23 and 30.

In October of 1998 Alex Donner performed his cabaret show "New York - My Hometown" for 3 straight Monday nights at the Algonquin's Oak Room, the Mecca of Cabaret in New York. After strong crowds and critical raves he was extended for a forth Monday night.

On each Monday, respectively, he was introduced by good friends Ruth Warrick, star of "All My Children", George Whipple of NY One and CNN fame, and by legendary singer Margaret Whiting.

At the personal request of the Algonquin's management, he put together a second show, "Back on the Town", that played to robust houses for a full week run in the fall of 1999.
